Henson Shave Cream is the perfect companion to the Henson Razor.
The cream helps the razor glide across your skin. It also rinses out easily with the built-in channels of the razor. This combination is excellent in delivering a shave experience with minimal (if any) irritation.
We went out of our way to select ingredients that support and protect your skin, and get rid of ingredients that don't. Here's just a few of the ingredients often found in shaving products, that aren't in the Henson Shave Cream.
No Propane
You may not realize it, but one of the most common propellants in aerosol shaving creams is propane... Yes, the same thing your BBQ uses.
The Henson Shave Cream won't start your BBQ, but then it also doesn't contain propane (or other propellants).

No Alcohols
Alcohols are often found in shaving products. Alcohols provide a false sense of satisfaction by creating a cooling or tingling sensation.
The reality is that alcohols strip your skin of natural oils causing dryness and irritation. Repeated exposures can result in damage to the skin barrier and cracking skin.

Sulfates are extremely common in shaving creams (and many skin care products). They help water and oil mix together, and are used as foaming agents to create overly bubbly lathers. But they also strip your skin of natural oils again causing dryness as well as potentially worsening conditions like eczema, acne and rosacea.
Sulfates are also under scrutiny for potentially being toxic and damaging to your health. They're not necessary, so we didn't include any in our Shave Cream.

Henson Shave Cream was originally produced by Aidan Gill of New Orleans. The proprietor of one of the finest barber shops in the US, Aidan has been shaving men for decades.
Fed up with many of the shave cream options for men, Aidan embarked on a near decade-long endeavour to make one of the finest products available.
We first met Aidan in 2023 and were impressed with his deep knowledge of shaving and affable personality. This product is delivered in partnership with Aidan.
The Henson Shave Cream can be applied either by hand or with a shave brush. Relative to most drugstore products, you’ll find you need only a fraction of the cream to sufficiently cover your skin. Make sure to apply to a wet face and the cream should generate a robust lather.
