We went out of our way to select ingredients that support and protect your skin, and get rid of ingredients that don't. Here's just a few of the ingredients often found in shaving products, that you won't find in ours.
No Propane.
You may not realize it, but one of the most common propellants in aerosol shaving creams is propane... Yes, the same thing your BBQ uses.
The Henson Shave Cream won't start your BBQ, but then it also doesn't contain propane (or other propellants).

No Alcohols.
Alcohols are often found in shaving products. Alcohols provide a false sense of satisfaction by creating a cooling or tingling sensation.
The reality is that alcohols strip your skin of natural oils causing dryness and irritation. Repeated exposures can result in damage to the skin barrier and cracking skin.

But they also strip your skin of natural oils again causing dryness as well as potentially worsening conditions like eczema, acne and rosacea.
Sulfates are also under scrutiny for potentially being toxic and damaging to your health. They're not necessary, so we didn't include any.
