Our guide to smart gifting:

The best gifts are reopened every morning.

Our version of smart gifting is to consider the long-term benefit and lifecycle of the gift. Flowers are opened once. This razor, to whomever it's given, will improve their existing shaving experience for the rest of their life.

Machined in Canada

Made in Canada

We machine the Henson razor at our aerospace facility in Canada.

Aerospace quality

The Henson razor is made to AS9100 standards. Buy once, use for life.

Sold around the world

The Henson razor is a proven product, with over 700,000 sold in 145+ countries.

Who's behind Henson?

We made satellite parts. Then we looked at your razor.

Henson started in an aerospace machine shop in Canada. For years we made parts for satellites and other complex aerospace projects. Those parts have to be exact.

Then we looked at razors. Both safety razors and multi-blades and saw glaring design flaws. The blades were held loosely. The angles were close, but not exact. And the blade could bend against your skin while you shaved.

So we tried something different: a precisely held blade, clamped rigidly at exactly the right angle.

We've now sold more than 700,000 razors in over 145 countries. The shave is better, easier, and cheaper. And the razor lasts a lifetime.

The same great gift works on every body.

Coarse beards, sensitive skin, heads, legs. One fixed angle handles all of it, so you can give a gift without the guessing.

No effort required.

Every gift either stops working or becomes ineffective in time or takes too much effort to get anything out of it.

A treadmill only pays off if they use it, every week, for years. Flowers ask nothing but are gone by Friday. The corner almost nobody reaches is the bottom right: lasts a lifetime, asks for nothing.

A Henson sits there because they already shave. There's no habit to start and nothing to remember. The only thing that changes is the shave itself, every morning, for as long as they own it.

The blade is clamped all along the edge.

The Henson holds the blade so tightly it can't flex while you shave. Less flex, less irritation than a multi-blade razor.
