We made satellite parts. Then we looked at your razor.
Henson started in an aerospace machine shop in Canada. For years we made parts for satellites and other complex aerospace projects. Those parts have to be exact.
Then we looked at razors. Both safety razors and multi-blades and saw glaring design flaws. The blades were held loosely. The angles were close, but not exact. And the blade could bend against your skin while you shaved.
So we tried something different: a precisely held blade, clamped rigidly at exactly the right angle.
